Pastor Chuck has faithfully served as lead pastor at First Trinity for over twenty years. He announced his upcoming retirement last year with his final Sunday set for September 13, 2026. This April, Pastor Jason accepted the call to serve as our next lead pastor. Transitions are well underway with updates posted regularly by the main entrance and on our pastoral succession page.

Saturday Evening Banquet
Update: As of August 2, we have reached seating capacity for the banquet and closed the RSVP form. If space opens up, we will re-enable it.
First will be a banquet on Saturday, September 12 from 5-8:30 p.m. at Banchetti by Rizzo’s (550 North French Rd., Amherst, NY 14228). Attire is business casual. Cost is $10 per adult or child. The evening program is more geared towards adults, so parents may use their discretion regarding appropriate age.
If you need to pay by check or cash, be sure to note on the memo line “Retirement Dinner”. Payment should only be dropped off in the main office or mailed to First Trinity Lutheran Church (1570 Niagara Falls Blvd, Tonawanda, NY 14150). Do not leave dinner payments in the offering plate.

Sunday Morning Celebrations
This will be a casual hour of socializing for all ages to say goodbyes to Pastor Chuck and Susan! It will take place their final Sunday, September 13 during our 10 a.m. Education Hour. Be sure to come join in the fun!
