New Here?

Thanks for stopping by!

We are so glad to worship with you and would like to serve you better. To help us do so, it would be great if you would complete this quick guest card.

Visiting a church for the first time can be challenging. We want to help make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Here are some things you may want to know before you visit.

Finding Your Way Here

First Trinity Church BuildingWhere are you located?

If you like to use a GPS, our address is 1570 Niagara Falls Blvd, Tonawanda, NY 14150. If you prefer landmarks, we’re located on Niagara Falls Boulevard, just south of the 290, across from Trader Joe’s. You can see a picture of our building to the right.

Where do I park?

There is parking in the rear (neighborhood) lot that is reserved for guests. This lot provides easy access to the worship center (to your left as you enter the building). There is also a smaller lot along Niagara Falls Boulevard. If you enter through the main entrance from this lot, you’ll go up a half-flight of stairs, back down a few steps and be in our main hallway. The worship center will be to your right.

What time are your services?

We have a smaller service on Saturday evening at 5:30 (about 40-60 people) and two on Sunday at 8:45 a.m. (130-150 people) and 11:15 a.m. (170-190 people). Many people arrive to our services 10-15 minutes early. Several staff are available during the time before and after worship if you have questions about our church.

How should I dress?

We believe that God looks at the heart of a person, not the clothes they are wearing. However, many people feel more comfortable knowing how others dress. Our Saturday service is a mix of business casual and more relaxed clothing. Our traditional service on Sunday tends to be a mix of business casual, ties and even a few suits and dresses. Our Sunday contemporary service is more relaxed and “come as you are.”

What to Expect While You Are Here

What are your services like?

The 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:45 a.m. Sunday Service are traditional. We sing hymns with organ accompaniment. There is a choir and/or special musicians at most services. The 11:15 a.m. Sunday Service is contemporary. We have a worship band that includes drums, guitars, keyboard, vocalists and other instruments as needed. We sing many of the songs that you might hear on Family Life Network or other popular Christian music stations.

I have special needs. Can the church accommodate me?

Most of our facility, including our worship center, is fully accessible. We have an elevator to provide access to the most-used sections of the building and avoid putting classes in areas that aren’t accessible when we can. We also offer a class on Sunday morning for people with special needs.

What should I do with my kids?

Children are an important part of our church family and we welcome them in worship. There is a quiet room for parents and kids off the main worship space that you can use. During Worship, there is also a Children’s message for kids in Grade 5 and younger. It’s ok to bring snacks to church if that’s helpful for your children.

During our Education Hour (10 a.m.), we have classes for kids ages three and up. Childcare is provided for children under three years old.

I kind of like to blend in. Will I be singled out?

We don’t ask guests to stand in worship or single you out with special stickers. If you want to fly under the radar, you are certainly able to do so. There is a time during worship for everyone to fill out an attendance card if you desire. You can use it to ask us questions or leave any prayer requests you have so we can pray for you.
