VBS Donations
Did you know we offer our VBS for free to kids turning four (by Dec. 1) through completing grade 5 this June? There are a few ways to support this awesome ministry. One big one is by donating supplies See the donation board in the office hallway or our Amazon wishlist for supplies we need. Direct gifts are another option. Another big need we have is for volunteers, both leading up to VBS and during the week. See FirstTrinity.com/VBS to sign up!

Read and Play
Bring your child and stay with us for a story, songs and some time to play and socialize. Tuesdays at 10 a.m. from June 4 through July 9. Activities are designed for preschool age children (ages 2-5), but siblings are welcome too! The event is free with a free will offering to benefit our preschool scholarship fund.

Youth Park Day
Our annual park day will be on Sunday, June 23 from 3-6 p.m. at Ellicott Creek Park. There will be lawn games, lunch, and water balloons! Anyone entering grades 6-12 in the fall is welcome to attend. Register and learn more at FirstTrinity.com/Events.

Congregational Meeting
We’ll meet our summer congregational meeting at 6:30 p.m. on August 17 for . At this meeting, we’ll approve the 2025 budget, hear the bi-annual report, and get other important updates.

Help Paint the Preschool
We are looking for helpers to paint the preschool the first week of June. All supplies provided- just be sure to come in clothes that can get paint on them. Are you able to help? Sign up here to let us know which times you can make it.

Volunteers Needed
Would you be available to help out with the Senior Breakfast? High school ministry needs people to donate baked goods and other breakfast foods ahead of time, set up on June 8, and serve breakfast on June 9 during education hour. Details at FirstTrinity.com/Events!

Israel 2025
The trip to Israel in October, led by Pastor Chuck, has been postponed until Fall of 2025. See the events page for more information.

Pioneer On the Lake Happenings
The camp will hold a Servant Saturday on May 18 from 10-4 p.m. You can volunteer for any part of the day and find a job for any age and skill level. A pizza lunch is provided. Use this link if you have questions or to sign up.

Every Friday, from 5 p.m. until dusk, a Classic Car Cruise takes place through September 27. Take a drive down to Angola and enjoy the cars and sunset. Bring a lawn chair. Hot dogs, burgers and ice cream are available.

Volunteers are also needed for Pioneer Fest July 21, Agape Week companions (July 22-26), for gardening and the car shows.

Pioneer-on-the-Lake is also taking reservations for summer camps now.

Mission Trip Opportunity 2025
There is a mission trip opportunity to the Dominican Republic. The DR occupies 2/3 of the island of Hispaniola; the other 1/3 is Haiti. Tentative dates are January 15-22, 2025. OPUS—Save the Date
Mark your calendars! Our OPUS (Older People Up to Something) will be having our Summer Picnic on August 21, 2024, starting at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon.

Wheels for Workers
Ken-Ton Kiwanis is teaming up with Wheels for Workers to provide refurbished bikes to new immigrants for transportation to employment. Contact Carol Butch at 716-693-7048 for more information or to arrange bike pick up.

New Adult Classes
Our next set of classes begins May 19 during our 10 a.m. Education Hour.
Sue Steege will teach The Promises of God in the Library. This class will explore the promises God makes in His Word, why we can trust them, and how to live out that trust practically. Pastor Chuck will teach Judges in the lower level and via Zoom. It contains some of the most exciting stories in the Bible and reminds us how He never gives up on us but loves us unconditionally, even when we sin and rebel. Go to the FT blog for more information.

Preschool Enrollment Open
We still have openings in the 2- and 3-year-old programs for Fall ‘24! Our school is a partnership between teachers and parents as we seek to help your children grow into the persons God desires them to be. Activities are thoughtfully planned, challenging, engaging, developmentally appropriate and comprehensive, but also fun! Go to FirstTrinityPreschool.com for more info.

Drummers Wanted
The contemporary worship band is in search of a supplemental drummer, with intermediate or higher level skills, to play at the contemporary 11:15 am Sunday service once or twice a month. This is a volunteer position. If you’re interested in exploring using your musical gifts to serve the congregation, please contact Elisa Nye (elanye18@yahoo.com).

Friends of the Night People
This ministry helps the poor, homeless and destitute in Buffalo. First Trinity serves with them the third Sunday of every other month.
