Holy Week 2023

Holy Week 2023

Palm Sunday

Saturday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 2 at 8:45 and 11:15 a.m.

Palm Sunday worship marks the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem for the last time. The crowds greet Him with shouts of “Hosanna to the Son of David!”, but they soon turn to shouts of “Crucify! Crucify!” by Friday.

Maundy Thursday

Thursday, April 6 at 7 p.m.

Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper and the new commandment Jesus gave us- to love one another just as He loves us. You will notice during service a stripping of the altar. This tradition symbolizes the disciples abandoning Jesus.

Good Friday

Friday, April 7 at 7 p.m.

This is a day to remember Jesus’ death on the cross. It is a solemn service remembering a terrible event. Still, we call it good because we know what God accomplished in the crucifixion.

Come by before service to participate in our self-guided Journey Through Good Friday experience. Click the button below to learn more!

Easter Vigil

Saturday, April 8 at 5:30 p.m.

On Holy Saturday, service will be an Easter Vigil. This service features a gradual lightening of the church (opposite of Good Friday’s darkening). At the end of the service, we get to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection!

Easter Sunday

Sunday, April 9 at 8:45 and 11:15 a.m.

The best day! Join us as we celebrate Jesus’ victory over death and our hope in Him. Services will be at 8:45 and 11:15 a.m. Between services, we’ll enjoy our Easter breakfast at 10 a.m. in the gym. Children are invited to join in an egg hunt partway through the breakfast.
