Children’s Ministry Overview

Children’s Ministry

Children are an important part of our church family. Here’s an overview of what you can find for children at First Trinity:

Children in Worship

Children are an important part of our worship service. We do not offer a separate “Children’s Church” because we feel they are part of our larger church family, not a distinct entity. During worship, there is a time for children to come forward for a message tailored to them.

We also offer a quiet room for children and their families where you can still see and hear the service, but allow for your child to play with some toys.

Children’s Sunday School (Preschool and Kindergarten)
Sundays at 10 a.m.

Children between the ages of 3 and 5 have age appropriate classes in our Preschool building. Learning is active and age appropriate.

Children’s Sunday School (Grades 1 – 5)
Sundays at 10 a.m.

We call it FT Kids. It’s a place where kids dig in to God’s Word, connecting with Him and with each other. Children are divided into small groups with caring adults that help them learn throughout the morning. There’s an opening large group teaching time that is experiential and interactive. There is music, crafts and all kinds of fun. Bring your kids to the Gym Hall outside the gymnasium. Look for signs marked “FT Kids” or “Children’s Sunday School” to find your way.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer, we transform our building into an exotic destination as kids explore Jesus’ love in fun, creative ways. More information is available on our VBS page.
