Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lenten season for Christians. It takes place 46 days before Easter

Ash Wednesday – February 14, 2024

Ash Wednesday services will be held at 12:30 and 7 p.m. Both will have the imposition of ashes. Only the 7 p.m. service will be live streamed. Weather Alert for January 14 Governor Kathy Hochul has issued a driving ban for Erie County from 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 13 until 6 a.m. on Sunday, January 14.
