Jonah: Not Just a Kids’ Story
Storm! Shipwreck! Big fish! Big fish vomit! The Old Testament book of Jonah is much more than a children’s story–it’s a picture of all the beauty, potential and challenges the Bible presents to its reader. We will explore the complex picture of God’s mercy found in this familiar story and what it means for life today. Led by DCE Sue Steege. Meets in the Lower Level and via Zoom.

Speaking God’s Language: the Power of Praying the Scriptures
Do you ever wonder if you are praying God’s will? When we pray the Scriptures (get ready to find out exactly what that means!), we know it is God’s will. We will be connecting to the Scriptures and to prayer as we learn how to pray the Word over our families, our jobs, and our lives. This class is going to be real, hands on help to learn this practice. Together, we will learn the power and joy of prayer. Led by Rev. Dr. Charles and Susan Whited. Meets in the Library.
