Adult Classes – 7 weeks
Cat and Dog Theology Would you like to grow in your understanding of Who God really is and what He is really like? This class tackles some of the most intriguing questions about God and our relationship with Him. What exactly is our relationship supposed to look like? Who does God live for? What’s the difference between a “help me” prayer and a “cause me” prayer? And what in the world do cats and dogs have to do with theology? For a deeper understanding of who God is and Who we are in Christ, join us for Cat and Dog Theology! Led by Rev. Dr. Charles and Susan Whited. Meets in the Library.
Exodus-God’s Great Rescue The second book of the Bible is a great epic story of God rescuing His people, and then making them His own. Burning bush! Slave labor! Plagues! Murder! Pillar of fire! Stone tablets! So much to take in! This class will dig into the events of Exodus with an eye towards what they teach us about God and what it means to be His people today. Led by Sue Steege. Meets on the Lower Level.
