Mission Team Prepares to Return to Haiti
January 6th to 14th, 2008
The First
Trinity Haiti Mission Team is preparing to return to Haiti
from January 6 through 14, 2008. Our home base will be the
First Lutheran Church of
Les Cayes which
includes a school and separate girls and boys orphanages.
The team is busy getting ready to:
-
Support those in ministry in the area
-
Share songs, activities and TLC with the children
-
Tackle projects on the facilities’ To Do List
-
Work with SEED ministries
-
Arrange assistance from a dental mission team from Grand
Island, NY
-
Be available and flexible as other needs arise.
The 2008 team
includes Tracy Bramwell, Jaime Christ, Dan & Renee Gietz, Ceci
Huang, Amy & Dan Mahl, Anne Miller, Sue Steege, Kim Taylor,
Pastor Allen Werk, and Pastor Chuck Whited.
We would like to
thank all who supported our fund raising efforts at the Hearts
for Haiti Craft Show in October and our Chiavetta’s Chicken
Barbeque in December. If you are looking for ways to
participate in this mission trip from home you can:

Sign up or contact Kim Taylor to be a prayer partner for a
mission team member.

Pray for the team as we prepare, travel, minister, and
return.

Provide monetary support for team member expenses or project
needs by noting Haiti Mission with your donation.

Donate needed supplies for mission trips and ongoing

Amy Mahl
Amy is married to Daniel Mahl. She is very excited about God
giving her this opportunity to help. Second time to
Haiti. |

Anne is retired from Roswell Park. Volunteers nearly
every day at FT. Fourth time to Haiti.

Husband of Renée. Physical Education teacher at Niagara Falls
High School. Head of building projects for the team.
This will be his third trip to Haiti. |

Renée Gietz
Renée works for the Child Care
Resource Network. She is happy to again be sharing
this mission trip with her husband, Dan. Renée is
returning to remind the Haitian people that we care
and to share in their joy and enthusiasm. |

Jaime Christ
Jaime is returning to Haiti for her second trip this
year. She enjoyed last year's trip so much, and
feels that there is so much left to do in Haiti....
and she's excited to be a part of it! |

Pastor Chuck Whited
Pastor Chuck Whited, of First Trinity, has a
passion for missions and a love for the people of
Haiti. He is going to train and encourage pastors as
they bring the hope of Jesus Christ to the people of
Haiti. |

Sue Steege
Sue Steege is on the staff at First Trinity. She
is going on the trip because she has a passion for
sharing God's love with the people of Haiti,
especially the children. Sue is the team leader. |

Tracy Bramwell
Tracy has been a member at First Trinity almost
25 years. She works as a staff developer for Erie 1
BOCES helping teachers integrate technology into
their classrooms. Tracy is married and has 2 cats.
She is going on the trip to see friends made last
year and as an ambassador, to share love, care and
generosity with the people in Haiti. |
