Workcamp 2012 (Grades 8 – 12)

Wilmington, North Carolina (July 21-29, 2012)

With 31 miles of pristine shoreline, the Wilmington/Cape Fear area is famed for its beauty and history, but behind the tourist highlights lies real, masked needs. The popularity of the area exacts a price on the elderly and those with fixed incomes—rising housing costs that result in rising repair costs. These needs provide you many opportunities to help those in need repair, restore and weatherize their homes. While residents take pride in their community, you can give them an even bigger reason to smile: a home that’s safe and attractive.
