The Foundations
Led by Pastor and Susan Whited (Meets in Grace)
The Foundations is a DVD based study featuring Ken Ham, founder of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum. It addresses the topic of why young people are leaving the church in droves, what must be done to reach today’s culture for Christ, and how to defend the truth and authority of Scripture with confidence and boldness. Topics include the Relevance of Genesis; Revealing the Unknown God; One Blood, One Race; Always Ready; In Six Days; and Death the Enemy.
Beyond Sunday Morning
Led by Bekah Freed, the NYC Mission Team, and Sue Steege (Meets all summer in the Basement.)
This study will explore the ways in which our faith goes beyond gathering together for an hour each week in worship. While worshiping together is a very important part of being the Church, it cannot stop there. Each week this summer, the NYC mission team members will share a portion of their trip, help us dig into God’s Word, and lead an interactive activity that will help us learn about being the Church in our everyday lives. Whether planting your garden, listening to a friend, or painting with bubbles, God is everywhere because we, Christ’s followers, are everywhere and He is alive in us. Join us each week to be challenged to live out your faith each and every day! This study is for ALL ages! (Kindergarten and under must come with a parent or other responsible adult.)
Blessed are the Peacemakers
